After many-a-month of haitus, The SkyFamily Comics has returned! Entries will be sporadic as we get back into the swing of things. Expect at least one comic a week until the office machines come back online.

The site is going through some coding changes to fix the forward and previous links. Until then, they'll be offline. Older comics can be found through the archives link.

Due to some changes behind the scenes at the Sky Family Group, the release days for new comics will be reduced to twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Few graphical updates on the page. The header was changed back to the original design, dropping the white background for the wide open, blue sky look. This cleans up the menu a little more and also separates the comic visually from the graphical header.

If you were wondering where the last week's comics were, apologies from the authors. An unexpected failure on the operating systems of the main art machine caused the need for a full reinstall. And with Memorial Day being celebrated on Monday, a week was lost. Again, apologies for the downtime.

We have implemented a sharing bar beneath each comic on the comments pages. From there, you can click on the social network you'd like to share the Sky Family Comics on. Currently, we support Facebook, Digg, StumbleUpon, and Del.icio.us. This will undoubtedly continuously be updated in the future. If there are any other networks you would like to see, please contact us.

There will be a few changes to the navigation on the site coming in the near future. First, there are now First and Latest links on the bar beneath the comic. This bar will also migrate into the comics where comments are found. Currently, navigation from inside a comic's comment page doesn't exist.

We're excited about bringing the Sky Family Comics to the internet and have so far been impressed with its evolution. Stay tuned and please share the link with your friends.

The layout of the site is now just about complete. All of the strings have been tied up and we're happy with the layout. There are a few additions which still must be done and those will arrive in the next few days. The site is designed with Internet Explorer 7 and above as well as any other of the major browsers such as Opera, Firefox and Safari. There are some bugs in the design still present which will be squashed as soon as possible. The layout has not been tested on Internet Explorer 6 and prior. If this becomes a concern, it will be addressed.

Welcome to the new home of The Sky Family Comics!

The Sky Family was conceived about twenty years ago by two intriguing youngsters with some wild imaginations. The cast of characters were plenty, dozens in fact, each having a unique personality, and always getting on each other's nerves. They always seemed to fight for dominance. It's a bitter sibling rivalry, I guess you could say. If you've ever seen a cloud that looks like a duck or the rays of the sun beaming through the thunderstorms from the heavens, you've seen the Sky Family doing what they do best.
